1936 Mead Ranger bicycle produced by Arnold Schwinn & Co. Only available through catalog order. This is a 1935 exclusive model for the Schwinn “cycleplane” with a Double Diamond frame, but Mead used it in 1936. It features a different rack, reflectors, fork, badge and color scheme than a Schwinn badged cycleplane. The deluxe Troxel seat is a custom restoration done by Gary Rebmann AKA SchwinnXchange in brown with a Mead stamp featuring a chrome seat chassis, as is common for balloon tire Mead Rangers.
