1960′s AMF Roadmaster Amelite Cobra

Talk about a rare bike! Have you ever seen one of these? The design is entire unique. Double bar frame with an aluminum decorative “console” cover is the first thing that pops out. But then look at the rear carrier. It is moulded to fit the fender, offering a very sreamlined look. The whitewall tires and white seat with chromed fenders look great on this candy gold painted bike.

    Hi there
I have one of these 1960′s AMF Roadmaster Amelite Cobras. Same color and overall nicer condition. My console aluminum piece is nicer but it was perfect prior to having it shipped from PA to WA. That thin aluminum dents easily and the bike was not packed for shipping properly. My rear rack has a small area of paint touch up also. Is the Cobra in the photo for sale? Thanks.

    • Hi Steve, the bike in the photos was sold on eBay a while back, but if you have an interest in a ladies model to match yours, I have one available. Mine is called a Silver Streak and is mostly chrome. I live in WA state too.
