Pre-WW2 Sears Collegiate

Prewar balloon style bicycle My wife and I found at an Estate sale warehouse. We have been having trouble pin pointing the year and make but the front badge ” Collegiate” is there , looks similar to Elgin if you ask me. Since we have owned it we disassembled cleaned and greased front and rear hubs , bottom bracket , replaced tires with tubes and installed some late Schwinn bars. ( the originals were missing and we wanted to be able to ride it for now. ) The bike looks cool and rides great now. Not just something old and rusty to look at. The seat , wheels, hubs, spokes, gooseneck, chain , sprocket , pedals ect. all looks to be original. We would like to begin the search for the correct bars and chain guard soon if we can figure out what year it really is. I took several pics of ” Big Rusty ” at least that’s what our 4 year old daughter named her and it has a neat old bike license tag attached to it. Check it out! I don’t know where its from either but just adds to the vintage feel. Thanks to everyone for checking out our old balloon cruiser and any info would be a great help.
