1939 Western Flyer, Speedline Airflo
The Bicycle of the Month for September, 2001 is this gorgeous 1939 Shelby Speedline Model 62 - It is an older restoration currently being upgraded to a correct Model 72. This bike currently has N.O.S. U.S.Royal Master tires, original accessory streamline gooseneck, Carryflector "handelbar ducks" and knuckle guards and Morrow brake. Upgrades in the works include a N.O.S. New Departure "WD" front brake and fluted aluminum fenders, Travelog speedometer, "Airflo" taillight and change the tires to Good-Year G-3's.
