1941 Roadmaster, Men's Bicycle

This 1941 Roadmaster wears its original paint and chrome. Notice the New Departure 2 speed in black, which was a war-time finish for many bicycle parts. The fork is a Shock-Master spring suspended fork that many collectors consider to be the best performing spring fork made during the classic era. This style of bike was very mainstream all the way through the 1950's. It is an example of a deluxe bike that any boy may have had during that time. A good design that was not over-done and out of style the next year.
