1938 Elgin, Robin

This months Bicycle of the Month is Frank Puricelli's 1938 Elgin Robin. With its zeppelin styled tank and built-in headlight, this bike was at the top of the styling game in the late 30's. What kid wouldn't have thought this was cool? Frank's bike is painted in the rare Red and Cream color scheme that was seldom seen on the Robin. It has the optional speedometer that is mounted to the special made goosneck. It also has the optional Delta Defender tail light. Frank restored and painted this bike himself. Good job Frank, what a sweet ride!
