1937 Dayton Super Streamline

This rare 1937 Dayton “Super Streamline” bicycle was as hot as it got in 1937 as bicycle styling goes. Built by the Huffman Mfg, Co.(later to become Huffy) this bike features wild paint with a lot of pinstripes, something that many Huffman built bikes were known for in those days. The radical frame styling, unique “mesh” chain-guard, twin Delta Silver-Ray headlights, and “ash tray” Stewart Warner speedometer really make this bicycle special, and worthy of being the November 2008 Bicycle of the Month!
