Welcome to the new BobURL feature!

What's a Bobbed URL? You have no doubt seen those internet addresses (known as the URL) that are a mile long? When you post those long URL's into an email or forum, they break off into two or more lines, and are most often broken as a result.... if you click on the link, it won't work! The solution? Use BobURL! It will shorten that long URL into a bobbed one, that will work great for email and forum postings.

How do I use it? Easy! Go to the site you want to link to. Copy the URL from within your browser window... the URL is at the top of the window, it says something like "http://www.bigfatoversizeurl.com/index.asp?etc". Highlight the URL with the mouse and then on your keyboard, press the Ctrl and hold it down while pressing the C key. Then come back to this page on Nostalgic.net and paste the URL (Ctrl and the V key) into the text box above. When you click the Bob the URL ! button you will be taken to a new page with the Bobbed URL displayed at the top of the page. Copy and paste that link into your email, forum post, etc., and you're done. Piece of cake!
