Thank you for visiting Dave's Vintage Bicycles, home of vintage and antique bicycle enthusiasts! This website is 10 years old and has come a long way. In the beginning, it was a very small hobby site with just a few pictures of my own bikes. It has grown to contain hundreds of photos of various vintage and antique bicycles, and now with the new addition of membership accounts, home pages and the ability for members to submit their own bicycle pictures to the database, Nostalgic.net is sure to grow much larger! But this can only happen with your participation. It is FREE, there are no fee's to become involved. Start now by signing up for an account!

Early Pierce bicycles were the product of the Pierce Arrow automobile company, but were not called "Pierce Arrow"... rather just "Pierce". This bicycle is on display at the Pedaling History Bicycle Museum in Orchard Park, NY. Entry Submitted by Dave Stromberger. |

 | Geared High Wheel (1888, Facile) - Early use of gearing in a bicycle is evident in this Facile bicycle. Because of the gearing, it was possible to make the front wheel smaller while still allowing the rider to achieve some speed. Entry Submitted by Dave Stromberger |
