1910’s Bicycle Dealership – Photograph – H.A. Testard

This great photograph was found on Shorpy.com, but it’s so cool I had to repost it here for your enjoyment! It shows the dealership of H.A. Testard, who sold Bicycles and Automobiles. This was taken in the 1910’s in New Orleans, LA. Of interest, one of the automobile brands he sold was Hartford, which was made by the Pope Manufacturing Company, also makers of Hartford and Columbia bicycles. On one of the windows in the photo you can see a Columbia bicycle logo (image of a headbadge). In the window are shown bicycles and a motorcycle. A sign is visible advertising New Departure Coaster Brakes. Original mega-high-res link on Shorpy.
